Brief coastal drawing in conte and pen. Photos for ref
- like the conte sketch of Embleton bay and parts of pen work on Dunstanburgh castle cliffs.
- landscape sketches needed gouache light washes in areas to capture the tones/colours/erractic patterning of cliffs
- need slightly wider range of resources to enable me to focus on the essence of place -esp sea & sky
- should direct focus to point of interest and use wider range of mark making to suggest rather than overdraw
